Woerden, Netherlands - 6/2009
Dutch sim-only operator Simpel has ambitions to extend to other European countries. At present it is only active on the Dutch market.
In an interview with Telecompaper, general director Jasper de Rooij said that the MVNO is focusing on a number of Eastern European countries. He named Hungary, Poland and also Turkey as interesting places for growth, as these countries do have a high mobile penetration. Foreign extension should be in place in 2010. Simpel has been active in the Netherlands for two years now and works via MVNE Aspider on the KPN network.back
